L.J. Market Research completed a study interviewing random business travelers and the numbers stood out to me: 71% said they had recently received a promo item in the last 12 months and 33% had the item on them!

Think about the promo items we usually give away: mugs, t-shirts, sticky notes, pens, bags. These are items people can use over and over in a number of ways in their life.

Other types of advertising (print, tv, online advertising, native online articles) rely upon the potential customer returning to the piece of advertising and seeing or hearing it again. Promo items are something your target audience wants to see in the way of advertising and at a much cheaper cost to you than alternative methods of getting your brand in front of them.

Next time you’re thinking promo items are too expensive to invest in, think of how many times your could be new client will see it. Now does it seem too expensive?
