The Best Promos From The Largest Promotional Products Conference: Round 2

  • Feb 7, 2018

Two weeks ago I was in Vegas at the largest promotional products industry conference and after hours walking the trade show floor I came back with a ton of unique and creative promotional items that should be on your list for 2018. I shared some of them last week but I have so many that I’m sharing the rest this week!

This post’s focus is on two big segments that are going to be just as popular this year as last: tech and drinkware/food items.

TECH

Really unique spins on traditional products. All of these items will have attendees rushing for your booth.

One of my personal favorites: water bottles with speakers.

Perfect for camping, beach trips or even in the office, these are a relatively new item that makes it easy to play your favorite music on-the-go.

Know what these are? Your traditional memory drive and speaker but in a new teeter, totter format! Neither of these will fall down and add a special touch to an especially useful promo item.

More unique takes on items you’ve seen all over the place before;

  • memory drives but in the shape of pens (multi-purpose!)
  • dual USB chargers for the car
  • dual rechargeable earbuds that come with their very own power bank.

DRINKWARE/FOOD ITEMS

While some products are best targeted to certain demographics, drinkware and food items can be used in any industry making them a guaranteed hit.

I saw the same twists on an always popular item being applied to this segment just as I did with tech.

Mugs were taken to the next level. There’s lots of options when it comes to keeping drinks hot or cold for up to 12 hours but this year there was a lot of effort made to make these always timeless drink carriers fashionable as well. Guaranteed winner.

Mugs usually come with a large imprint space so if you’re looking for a promo item that will shout your logo and get lots of use and impressions, mugs are a timeless option.

Lunch totes also got an upgrade this year. Stylish lunch boxes that are easy to carry and solidly insulated were all over the place on the exhibit floor.

Oh so many options. Those are just a handful of the items that I came across in my search to find the top promo items for this year. I’m always on the lookout for unique ways my clients use promo products and PPAI Expo did not disappoint.

I came back with tons of great ideas and creative ways to transform promo items beyond your traditional promos to the more impact “promoting with a purpose!”.
